This paper approached the reasons of the serious leakage of west vice-dam of Dazhan reservoir from the analysis of dam foundation geology and dam quality, the calculation of the quantity and deformment of leakage.(1) On the basis of the reasons of the serious leakage of west vice-dam of Dazhan reservoir, this paper contrasted one programme to another among all seepage-proof reinforcement programmes and choosed the seepage-proof concrete wall and designed the wall. The thick of the wall, the height of the wall top, the wall deep in the dam rock foundation, the place of wall axis, the wall material and the material ratio wore decided through design and deep analysis.(2) Carry on the stress and steady analysis of influent .In order to check the states of the stress in wall and the steady of seepage this paper deeply analyzed and calculated the stress with the methods of the Elastic Foundation Beam and the Finite Element respectively, and the steady of seepage with the method of the Finite Element in two-dimensional seepage field.(3) On the basis of deeply analysis of engineering characteristics, the paper designed detailed the construction programme of the seepage-proof plastic concrete wall. The construction programme consists the construction technology, the measurements and key links of construction quality controlling, the measurements of material ratio controlling of plastic concrete wall, the methods of concrete blending and pouring and action measurements of accidents in slotting.(4) According to the engineering characteristics drill sampling, water flooding test on construction site, non-damaging test with geology radar wore uesed in monitoring and analysing of construction quality.
