Pollutant NOx emission is an increasing threat to environment and human health, which becomes an urgent problem to be solved. Coal combustion in power plant is a major source of NOx. Many control methods have emerged as the times require for solving the environment pollution problem of NOx emission from power plant boiler. One of these is fuel reburning. The 410t/h boiler of Guohua Beijing co-generation branch company used conventional pulverized Shenhua coal (R90=28%) as reburning fuel, NOx removal rate reached 50%. A series of study is carried out aiming at the boiler modification. First, the innovation scheme that the pulverized coal particle of reburning fuel is the same as that of main fuel is setted up based on coal property and thermo gravimctric analysis. And the innovation effect is numerical simulated. NOx emission characteristics experiment is conducted after innovation to analyze the influence regulation of such factors as reburning coal rate, over-fired air, oxygen and coal pulverizer operation mode on NOx emission, and the combustion adjustment proposals to control NOx emission are mentioned also.
