Study On Sea Area Measurement System Based On Raster Chart

With the development and application of information technology, and computer and network technology in transportation, there is a big revolution in the modern marine technology, which is reflected by the wide use of software in marine research. In order to appraise and measure the actual damaged area of aquatic equipments, which was done by a troublemaking ship, it is developed the sea area measurement system, with the help of software, to achieve the quicker and exacter results.Sea area measurement usually uses GPS timely processing the position data for the boundary of sea area, and then calculates the sea area of anomalistic area. However, there is little literature to show how to calculate the sea area. First, give some methods for calculating the area of anomalistic area on plane, then deducing the methods special for calculating the sea area such as method of calculating coordinate points and method of counting grids, also, another method of counting pixels.Many measurements show the methods of calculating coordinate points and counting pixels achieve the accuracy and trustworthy result, also have highly applications. Calculation bear fruit error for the method of counting grids is bigger, and it can only be put into use as rude time study, the artificial factor exerts a considerable influence, not recommending usage.Sea area measurement system applies to maritime affairs inquire also may assist jobs such as accomplishing sea overflowing oil area measurement or calculating the breeding sea area. This thesis provides with the equations of the coordinate conversion and the sea area measurement, discusses the software design and realization, breaks the gap of literature review on the equation of the sea area measurement, and shows a practical case of the software in the appliance of marine research.
