In paper, there are three parts of compositions. First,through the basic principle proof and algorithm inferential reasoning, the steep and kurtosis analytic method and the logarithm power spectrum correlation function analyzing method are proposed, which are suitable to revolve the initial faults of rotating machinery. Next, through compiling correlation analyzing methods by MATLAB6.5, and check them by computer simulation signal and improve them. This paper generalizes the rotary machine faults, and thoroughly studies the mechanics of the rotary machine faults. Finally completing four classical the rotor machine faults in the Bentley rotor test platform. Through using the time and frequency area analytic method,the steep and kurtosis analytic method and the logarithm power spectrum correlation function analyzing method in four kinds of the rotor machine faults. This paper compares the analyzing result and gives conclusion.
