The rigid frame structure is widely used in multi-storey steel structure. The ductility and dissipation of this kind of structure is better. However, there are some defects of the rigid frame structure: the rigid joint is expensive, not convenience for construction and brittle failure is easy to occur; the anti-pushing rigidity of the structure is smaller and the lateral displacement is greater. The multilayer hinged frame structure with bracing doesn't have the flaws of the rigid frame structure as the above. The ability to resist lateral displacement of hinged frame structure with bracing is better than the rigid frame structure. If the max lateral displacement is same, the section of component of the hinged frame structure with bracing is smaller than that of rigid frame structure, so hinged frame structure with bracing is more economical. So far, there are many researches on the aseismatic performance of rigid frame structure, but there are few research on the aseismatic performance of the hinged frame structure with bracing. So the aseismatic performance of multilayer hinged frame structure with bracing is analyzed and studied in the paper.Firstly, the actual research condition and significance of the multilayer hinged frame structure with bracing is summarized, then the calculation and research on the aseismatic performance of multilayer hinged frame structure with bracing are presented according to the basic principles of elasto-plastic time-history analysis method, the displacement and acceleration of hinged frame structure with bracing with different storeies are compared and analyzed under frequently occurred earthquake action and seldom occurred earthquake action by employing the command stream edited with the ANSYS Parametric Design Language; the factors affecting the aseismatic performance of rigid frame structure are analyzed, the effect of slederness ratio of bracing, the section area of bracing and the acceleration of ground motion on aseismatic performance is discussed. Lastly, based on the nonlinear finite element analysis of two frames under reversed cyclic loads, one of which is hinged frame with bracing, the other of which is rigid frame, the paper studies several characteristics of the frames behaviors, such as the bearing capacity and ductility.According of the above analyse, the results are gained as follow: the aseismatic performance of the multilayer hinged frame structure with bracing is better; the slederness ratio of bracing has little effect on seismic response, but the section area of bracing and the acceleration of ground motion have great effect on seismic response;...
