Fluid-conveying buried pipeline, a kind of particular underground structure, is an important component of lifeline engineering and widely used in many fields, such as energy delivering, water supply and sewerage, chemical engineering and nuclear industry. Former researches on buried pipeline mainly focused on dynamic response of structure under external drive and dynamic characteristic analysis of pipe flow, while the fluid-structure interaction (FSI) was scarcely considered. However, the study findings of the aboveground piping showed that FSI made a notable impact on dynamic property of the piping system. The purpose of this study is to explore the influence of FSI on the dynamic behavior of buried pipeline system.Based on vibration theory and fluid-structure interaction theory, this article firstly established the dynamic analysis model of buried pipeline system using traveling wave method, and discussed the influence of such factors as Poisson coupling, connection coupling, supporting condition and soil situation on system vibration performance. According to traveling wave model founded formerly, dynamic responses of the pipe structure under excitation of internal pressure pulse wave and external SH seismic wave were analyzed respectively, and the influencing factors were discussed. In addition, this paper specially investigated the sampling progress of some model parameters for getting accurate analytic model.Except waterhammer, earthquake dynamic water pressure is another fluid action, not to be ignored, on piping structure. In the course of current pipeline design for earthquake dynamic water pressure, the fluid in pipe is usually treated as rigid body, which may be hazardous in some cases. In order to analyze the influence of fluid compressibility, this paper established the calculating model of hydrodynamic pressure using response spectrum method based on vibration separated, with fluid compressibility and tube wall elasticity considered, and hydrodynamic pressures under two kinds of working condition were computed, and the calculation values were compared with the rigid dynamic water pressures. In addition, the influencing factors on pipe flow hydrodynamic pressure were discussed.The calculating results of structural response show that pressure fluctuation of the pipe flow has an important influence on pipe stress, FSI makes the piping system response to the SH seismic wave increase by a big margin, mechanical property of...
