| With the development of aircraft's maneuvering performance and the request of Aviation Fire Control System, many countries have realized the important of the Helmet Mounted Sight/Display (HMS/HMD) and equipped them for some forces. But China has not a mature HMD applied, the main problem is that the weight of HMD is too much and the tracking technique is not very precise. Therefore it is absolutely develop more advanced target tracking technique and automatic aim system. Under this background, here provides a further research work in the field of tracking deflection of sight direction to head position.Through to the HMD concept and the function introduction, elaborated the gazing tracking technology development condition and the prospect. Then introduced in gazing tracking technology essential eye dynamic characteristic and survey way, after the former line of sight angle tracking system, proposed one new line of sight angle tracking plan. From the new angle consideration question, proposed the video image processing technique, judges the line of sight migration from the identical pupil characteristic point position displacement in two images. Being different from the way of Purkinje, this method may satisfy the examination accuracy of gazing direction in the normal rotation situation. According to the eyeball optics characteristic, the paper designed the system of gathering image photograph for video image processing technique.For more precisely extracting position of characteristic point and guaranteeing computation speed in real-time, after analysis of the image filter, the image division and the image track algorithm, this article proposed using the way of value filter for pretreatment and using the center of rectangle tracking algorithm which in wave gate tracking method to extract position of characteristic point. Then comparing to the base image, we can obtain the sight deflection of simple eye according to the relations of coordinates and deflection angle. Combined the head rotation central point and the relation of geometry position between the two eyespot, the paper proposed an algorithm, getting the deflection of sight direction to head position by deflection of two simple eyes.Synthesizing algorithm of above, by used VC++ 6.0 and DirectX SDK to realize the function under Windows, the result of processing is good. |
