With the development of design of wind turbine, when rated power output is more then 1MW, power control can not only depends on blade's pneumatic performance any more. People began to control blades'pitch angle with variety wind speed. When power out-put is less than rated power, blades'angle will stay at 0 degree; but when above, pitch control system will adjust blades'angle to limit the out-put power to keep on rated value. With the increment of wind turbine's capability, the blade's weight has become several tons. It's too heavy to drive it catch wind speed's variety, so the suitable control arithmetic of the pitch control is one of this paper's primary result.This paper focuses on Variable-pitch control system design of 1.5MW double-fed wind turbine. This design intends to reduce the change of wind speed's influence to the wind turbine's power output with the least change of pitch angle. Study on the ideal model of blade, we can work out the primary parameters of 1.5MW wind turbine's pitch control system. The hardware and software of pitch control system are designed, based on TMS320LF2407A. Do the MATLAB emulation about the whole wind system, master the states change when wind turbine does pitch control. |
