Gaseous fuel is divided to three categories: high-heat value, mid-heat value, and low-heat value based on the heat productivity. Moreover, a kind of low-heat value fuel named super-low heat value fuel whose heat productivity is less than 1MJ/m3. There are kinds of and plenty of super-low heat value fuel, including coal mine ventilation air, coal bed gas, water gas, marsh gas, some gas produced in steel industry, chemical industry and other kinds of gas. Ever now, these super-low heat value fuels are very hard to be utilized under usual condition for they could not to fired, so most of these fuels are discharged directly to air and conducing huge of wastage and severely environments pollution.This paper advanced a kind of theory named super-low heat value fuel catalytic combustion gas turbine (SLCCGT) which is dead against super-low heat value fuel's characteristic of low heat value and could not be fired directly. It adopts the method of catalytic combustion to catalytic oxidation super-low heat value fuel to fume with high-temperature and high-pressure, and then utilize this fume to motivate gas turbine working.
