The analytical investigation of deformation model and deformation forecasting are a very important part of the deformation monitoring, which is very significant to the safe construction and operation of building engineering. The common methods of deformation analysis include regression analysis method, timeseries method, grey theory method, artificial neural network method and combined analysis method of deformation. Based on method analysis, this article discusses the basic theory of the common methods of deformation analysis, and does some improvement to the traditional deformation analysis model by consideration of the building load. And based on some representative engineering examples, this articial does calculations and analysises in the deformation analysis methods above from a practical application point of view, gets the relevant deformation analysis models and the forecasting value, with which the traditional deformation analysis methods are in comparison, and summarizes the relative merits and sphere of application of the models above in the concrete use. For the complexities in deformation model calculation, the author realizes the calculations of the deformation analysis methods by the programming language Visual C++. The article gets some useful conclusion from practice, which is practically significant to coming deformation analysis and prediction of building engineering. In the finality, the deficiencies in this article are briefly discussed.
