Pile as an important form of foundations, have made great progress in theory and technique recent decades. With rapid development of large span bridges, docks, offshore platforms and the high-rise buildings, analysis of piles under simultaneous axial and lateral loads increasingly important. Under simultaneous axial and lateral loads, the mechanics of the interaction between soil and pile is very complicate. At present, abroad studies in this field are still limited to the determination of ultimate loads. And more emphasis is put on laboratory model tests. Some initial theoretical work has been done at home, but a few research of model tests. Based on mass of laboratory model tests and theoretical analysis, the main content of this paper can be summarized as follows:(1) Proceeding mass of laboratory model tests, reveal the characteristics of piles under simultaneous axial and lateral loads based on the tests data.(2) Theoretically analyzing the method and formula which can deduce the moment function of piles by measured bending moment through model tests. And make out the program to obtain bending moment, shear force and lateral earth pressure of piles based on measured bending moment through model tests.(3) Through analyzing the soil data of pile foundation, get the conclusion that proportionality coefficient reduce with the increasing of lateral displacement of piles. fitting reduction function of proportionality coefficient of earth resisting force based on predecessor's data. Deducing positive series general solution of piles under simultaneous axial and lateral loads. Making out force calculating program by positive series general solution. Calculating and analyzing force through program associating instance.(4) Calculating the instance using the finite element numerical method, comparing and analyzing the result with the result calculated by positive series program., certifying the rationality of positive series program.
