In order to meet the requirement of being safer and faster, Chinese Railways urgently need to equip train control system which is advanced performance, safety and reliability. Ministry of Railway proposed a strategy of developing CTCS(Chinese Railway Control System). There are many experiments in the research of CTCS and they will influence other trains to operate on the existing lines. Many people should take part in them,also more money and time are consumed. Therefore it is urgent to develop simulation and test platform which will help to do research for related problems.Building simulation platform to research CTCS is a very efficient method. We can compare diffident control arithmetic on this platform, and get creditable estimate about the system. Using 3D scene technology to simulate scene from driver can greatly strengthen the true feeling and confidence level of simulation system. Thus the 3D scene simulation system is an indispensable part in CTCS simulation and test platform.The paper finished 3D scene simulation development of CTCS level 3 simulation and test platform. There are four research aspects in the paper:(1)Terrain , railway and station 3D models building(2)3D scene real-time simulation software developing(3)Communication model between 3D model and other part of CTCS3 simulation and test platform design(4)3D scene real-time display technologies researchIn these four aspects, 3D model building of terrain and 3D scene real-time display technologies are the key and difficult question to be solved of the paper; it must conform to the real scene. In the condition of limited computer hardware, we must reach the balance between program real time and models true feeling by software technologies .Analysis the simulation result, we can get the conclusion: the researches can get close feelings of train driver when they face 3D real-time model simulation the paper designed and they can also amend the model conveniently by their needs. Beside that, through the simulator platform using distribute software structure, this software model have independence, easy maintenance and easy expand characters.
