With the development of technology and short of energy, the technology of strengthening the heat conducting ability is always the keystone of research. The method of strengthening the heat conducting by corrugated pipes for transferring heat has its advantage, and was extensively used in industry. Also many researchers proved that the corrugated pipes for transferring heat can strengthen the heat conducting by experiments and numerical calculation. The paper simulates the heat transfer and flow in turbulence condition by using corrugated heat as geometric model and the FLUENT software. It analyzes the state of flow and the geometric structure of tube influence on the heat transfer and flow resistance, and fixes heat transferring criterion related types of heat transfer and flow resistance. At the same time, the paper validates the reliability and the availability of the simulative results by the data of experiment.First of all, sets up the geometric model and the mathematic model of corrugated pipes for transferring heat. Analyzing the turbulence characteristics in tubes and making sure the parameters those work on the heat characteristics and flow resistance. The author simulates the model of heat transfer and flow in different flow states and with high Reynolds number k ?εequations and non-balance wall function by FLUENT software.Secondly, according to the results of simulations, some parameters are analyzed such as the distribution of axial wall shear stress and backset, the variation trend of part Nusselt number, the relations between geometric structure to the flow field and turbulent kinetic energy. It primarily analyzes how Re number, fin spacing and fin size influence flow resistance and heat transfer characteristic.At last, in the article, compares the results of simulation and experiment, and then fixes the guide rules relations of the heat transfer and flow resistance coefficient for providing the academic gist when applied corrugated pipes in industry.
