Enjoying the movie and the interpretation has become more and more important in our living with the development of the standard of the living. The cinemas and the theaters become more and more in the cities, the towns even the countries. The well HVAC systems can build the comfortable circumstance for the audiences in the cinema or the theater. The auditorium and the arena are the topic of the cinema, the lieu which holds a great amount of people, the object of the HVAC system. So the HVAC systems of the auditorium and the arena which judge the effect of the whole HVAC system are the most important parts of the whole cinema. The HVAC system infects the temperature field, the humidity field and the distribution of the contamination etc., it is the most important factor of the IAQ. But because of the limitation of the structure and the function of the cinema, there are many problems such as how to choose the correct air-flow organization, how to judge the effect of the airflow organization, how toimprove the capacity usage ratio of the air-flow organization. The CFD technology is the effective and economical method in the research for the aerodynamics in HVAC system, and it is also the direction of the HVAC field.The paper select a simplified model of a theater, adopt three ventilation mode which are ceiling air supply, stratified air conditioning and displacement ventilation, five cases. This paper use CFD commercial software Airpak to simulate the airflow, thermal comfort, effect of ventilation in the zone of spectator occupying and analyzing each result. With the contrast of the stratified air conditioning and displacement ventilation, selected an optimum cases. The result of the simulation directly display the effct of different ventilation mode to indoor air distribution. The ventilation mode in this paper is representive and can have effct on engineer design.Secondly, the effect of ventilation is contrasted between displacement ventilation and ceiling air supply in this paper. And the effect of displacement ventilation is better than ceiling air supply. Also, this paper analyses the characteristic of consuming energy of displacement ventilation combines with physics principle of displacement ventilation and ceiling air supply.
