Activated carbon with its obvious advantages, has become the most common and effecitve water deep treatment techniques in the world.The role of absorb effect of activated carbon and surface microbial biological degradation greatly enhanced role in pollution efficiency. Nevertheless, activated carbon technology in the domestic water supply industry has not been more widely applied. Activated carbon after prolonged used, the adsorption of organic saturated, the need for regenerate or change, which have greatly increased processing costs. In achieving equal or better results at the same time with the extension of the useful life of activated charcoal to reduce the cost of water system will be of practical significance.Intensed biological combined with activated carbon compose intensed biological activated carbon. The crafts can give full play to activated carbon adsorption and biological degradation synergies in operations made good initial treatment effect, the indicators are better than ordinary water biological activated charcoal. Intensed biological activated carbon (IBAC) can produce long-term operation stability results, activated carbon is the availability of longer useful life of the key technologies can promote.IBAC up to 850 days after the performance, the long-term operation of its CODMn, TOC, THMFP removal effect declined, the average removal decreased by 20%,22%,25%. However, the above indicators IBAC water remain in a satisfactory range. UV254, AOC, HAAFP no dramatic decline in the long-term operation, average removel rate difference less than 10%.
