The dissertation is made of three parts: the performance comparison of the main grounding grids , the grounding of the single core high voltage power cable, the grounding of the neutral point of transformer, Following are the details: Firstly, the paper compares the difference of large copper and steel material grounding grids: the choice of the grounding material , connecting method, potential difference within grounding grids, touch voltage, step voltage, gridding voltage, the grounding grids fault, performance of safety, grounding resistance. Std IEEE-2000 is used to calculate the parameter of grounding grids.Secondly, by comparing and analyzing voltage and current of metal sheath induction of the single core high voltage power cable, the paper summarizes the grounding method of the single core high voltage power cable.Finally, we appraise the grounding methods of neutral point of transformer and detrude the voltage and current under the single phase grounding fault.
