As a main form of pull foundations, tensile piles are used in practices. But compared with compressive piles, research on tensile pile is not so deep and thorough. The past research of tensile piles mainly focused on pile pull capacity, and at the time, the piles uplift behavior, that is, the displacement and deformation of piles under pulling force, were known little.Based on the past studies, and analyses of load transfer mechanisms of compression and tensile piles, this thesis introduces the load transfer methods used to be applied in compression piles to apply in tensile piles behavior analyses. The transfer function of tensile piles is chosen from those functions that are able to describe the interactions between plies and the surround soils.Since the load transfer function is complicated, this thesis establish nonlinear function depending on hyperbolic model, and applies deformation coordination method and finite element method to obtain its numerical solutions. The solving process is programmed within matlab frame. This thesis firstly studies the stiffness of compression piles and tensile piles under the work load, and the parameter studies were done, especially about the influence of piles diameter, ratio of length to diameter, and soil lateral pressure ratio, to the uplift capacity and displacement of tensile piles.Draw the following conclusions through the research: The first, affirm with the rationality to analysis tensile piles by load transfer method; The second, according to the Gardner 's hyperbolic model ,that establish the load transfer function relatively matches the tensile piles of the work form, the load transfer of tensile piles can describe with hyperbolic...
