This paper makes a comprehensive research on key technologies in development of 3-D CAD of sealed deep groove ball bearing, which are mainly in respect of parametric design, Pro/ENGINEER further development, database and the theory of optimum design. Based on the research, a method of parametric design is proposed for sealed deep groove ball bearing, and mathematic model of the optimum design is established. As a result, the 3-D CAD of sealed deep groove ball bearing is developed.Many key points have been fully discussed in the process of sealed deep groove ball bearing system development, which mainly includes the mathematic model, data structure, 3-D parts model, modeling of assemble model and parametric design; the interface technology between Visual C++ and Pro/ENGINEER, Visual C++ and SQL Server 2000; data transmitting technology between Pro/TOOLKIT and parametric design procedures; establishment of template and symbolic library, and the automatically created technology for 2-D engineering drawing.According to the design parameters inputted or selected, the system can be used to automatically search or calculate all design parameters of sealed deep groove ball bearing, and generate or self-generate the parts of sealed deep groove ball bearing, 3-D model of its assembly body, 2-D engineering drawing and design document. |
