Studies On Methods Of Registration Of Airborne Dual-Antenna Interferometric SAR System Based On Imaging

Based on Airborne Dual-Antenna IFSAR system, starting from imaging algorithms, this paper focuses on the misregistration in the process of registration. The difference between interferometric phase error is preliminarily discussed. The phase error is induced by misregistration in the two imaging modes which are boresight imaging and squint imaging respectively. On the basis of the analysis of the difference, this paper places emphasis on the additional interferometric phase error in the squint imaging mode in relation to the boresight imaging mode. What's more, the corresponding methods are adopted in order to compensate the phase error.Centering the discussion on the main issue, at the beginning, the basic concepts of SAR and IFSAR are simply introduced in this paper.In the following chapters, SAR imaging principals are deeply discussed, and three representative imaging algorithms are fully expounded, furthermore, the similarities and differences are compared via intensive analyses of relations among them. These algorithms are simulated using MatLab software. The simulation includes boresight imaging and squint imaging toward single point and multi points.Aiming at forming the intact concepts of registration in order to analyze misregistration in the following chapters, several traditional registration methods are simply introduced.On the basis of investigating the Wavenumber Domain imaging algorithm deeply, an imaging algorithm based on wavenumber domain is formulated. This algorithm can complete registration of complex image pairs during the course of original echo data imaging.
