In the operation of power system , the excitation controller of synchronous generator has a significent affect to the operation characteristics of power system. Not only can the excellent excitation controll system assure the voltage quality effectively, but also enhance the operation stability of the power system. The excitation controller also have some characteristics of low investment and simple facility .For the aim at the demand of the exciation manufacture in the alteration and new-built assigment of the midget hydro-power plant ,the thesis studies the design and implement of the excitation regulator based on the CIP51 microprocessor. This excitation controll system is made up of digital facility ,which is handled expediently, and provided with low investment, strong reliability and excellent control effect.First of all ,the thesis analyze and discuss the basic concepts and methods of traditional PID and non-linear controll theroy. At the some time, based on the state equation of a single generator infinite net, the thesis mostly discuss the feasibility of the non-linear controll excitation with voltage feed-back, and deduce the practical expression witch is based on outspreading of the Thaler series in the small range of the operation point. Due to avoiding resolving of the partial differential coefficient equation which based on multivariable, this arithmetic can be used in practical. After comparing the traditional PID controll arithmetic with NOEC arithmetic in control capability and simulation result, the thesis integrate with practice of the water-power station and choose the traditional PID controll arithmetic and NOEC arithmetic with...
