In order to suffice the huge demand of electric power and water resources for rapid-developing national economy, our country has constructed and will construct many large water resources and hydroelectric projects. During constructions of these projects, it can not be avoided to form various steep rock slopes by excavation and support under complex geologic environment. The stability of these slopes is very important to the success of a water resources and hydroelectric project during construction and operation. So during construction and operation of large water resources and hydroelectric projects, stability analysis and evaluation of steep slopes must be attached much importance. In addition, rock and soil of slope will be affected by various weathering and earthquake force, so the physical and mechanical attributes of rock and soil might be debasing gradually. By reason of numbers of uncertain factors, the extent of debasement is a random variable. For this case, a reasonable conclusion can be gained for stability analysis and evaluation of slope unless using the theories and methods of engineering structure reliability and risk analysis. This paper takes the powerhouse slope of Nanya river Yaoheba hydroelectric station as an engineering example, slope monitoring data, deformation state, support working state of the slope and the rules of environmental factors (air temperature...
