This dissertation mainly introduces the research and development work of the testing equipment system for liquid viscous couplings. Developed with liquid viscous transmission technology , the design and research of testing system for liquid viscous couplings becomes more urgent and important than before. The content of this dissertation include:Chapter 1, it discusses the development of liquid viscous transmission technology and the application of new technology in Four-Wheel-Driver automobile system and a conclusion is made of the importance in designing and making a type of liquid viscous couplings testing system.Chapter 2, in order to make the reader know more about liquid viscous couplings, It analyzes the theory of liquid viscous transmission technology and the structure of liquid viscous couplings as well as the method of figuring out the torque of it. The structure of it includes the main parts and the requirement of silicon oil as well as the performance of it. It also shows us the factors of how to check the couplings.Chapter 3, a detail explanation is made about the transmission torque of liquid viscous couplings and a model is established. It also gives us several factors which contribute to the characteristic of liquid viscous couplings and makes a simulation calculation of liquid viscous couplings output torque.Chapter 4, it introduces the liquid viscous couplings testing system's test principle ,system structure and testing procedure, analyses the hardware structure of the test system and the selection principle of hardware, shows the programming methods and structure of the testing system's software, compares the test result with dynamic simulation result and analyses the difference of them.Chapter 5, as the last chapter, the research contents of this dissertation have been summarized and the prospect of liquid viscous couplings testing equipment has been opened up.
