Pervious concrete is a kind of new materials designed to have high Porosity and permeability, through which runoff waters can be infiltrated, and then the infiltration effect of runoff waters by the reservoir structure can decrease the metallic micro-pollutants to enhance the quality of runoff waters. Pervious concrete can absorb sound, reduce noise and enhance driving and walking safety and comfort by preventing water spray. The high porosity structure reserve water and decrease the temperature significantly by evaporation, besides it can be used situ aerobic bioreactor. In a word , pervious concrete make our environment cleaner , cooler and more comfortable.The porosity structure in pervious concrete benefits to the environment, at the same time, its mechanical integrity and strength decrease for it, which hinds its extensive use. In order to resolve the contravention, this experimental study was conducted. In this thesis , the effects of workability of new paste,molding techniques, aggregates, content of high efficient water-reducing admixture and mineral admixtures on pervious concrete have been mainly studied, and its properties also have been done. The results indicate that pervious concrete with excellent properties can be made in 2.5MPa molding pressure, quarter stone used, curing in standard condition, as a result its compressive strength can reach 28.0MPa and its permeability coefficient is 2.42mm.s-1. If 5% silica fume,20% fly ash or compound mineral admixtures (5% silica fume +15% fly ash) is mixed respectively in the mixture, the compressive strength of pervious concrete can be improve to more 32.0Mpa and the permeability coefficient is more 1.50mm.s-1.
