A new type of railroad car is a new style of rail rapid transit system that has developed based on conventional railroad car. It has been accepted by a lot of country's major city and midcity by right of low construction cost, free from contamination, smooth ride, volume larger than bus and short construction cycle. It develops and popularizes continually during recent years.It is necessary that railbound vehicle adopting microcomputer control has become railbound vehicle control technique's development, while it is widespread tendency that railbound vehicle microcomputer network system adopting field bus technique has become development.This paper analyzes based on railroad car and train communication network, compares many field buses' technical feature, makes sure selecting and putting to use as modern railroad car microcomputer network system's bus, and designs modern railroad car microcomputer network system. Railroad car is single section car, so microcomputer network system adopts two-stage control, does not have to adopt intricate Train-Bus that adopted by organize into groups car. At the present time, existing railroad car in our country, main equipment mostly uses RS-485 interface, few equipment uses RS-232 interface, but dose not have CAN bus interface, so, if can effectively put these instruments and equipments using into CAN bus system, need to adopt a changeover gear that can make RS-232 or RS-485 interface covert CAN bus interface.
