Research On Construction Of Green Open Space System In Mountain Cities

Mountain cities are huge in numbers, covering broad areas of China territory. They, therefore, play a significant role. The exceptive topographies and physiognomies decide a unique ecological environment and landscape of mountain cities. However, the original pattern of harmonious coexistence between mountain cities and natural environment is disappearing, because, with the development of mountain cities, green space areas are being reduced, mountains and rivers are being artificially transformed to meet people's increasing demand for more land to subsist. The situation also creates a series of problems, such as, damage of natural subsistence environment and deterioration of entironment.With the idea of sustainable development being widely accepted, building eco-cities under the guidance of the idea has become a goal and guiding philosophy of mountain city development. The physical environment of an eco-city is composed of green open space system and artificial construction system. The two systems coexist contradictorily but harmoniously. As a tangible restriction means, green open space has a direct effect on mountain city development, its entironment and life quality of its inhabitant.The planning, designing and construction of green open space is a systematic project, which should be practiced based on natural background, while maintaining its dynamic equilibrium with urban space development. In response to characteristics of mountain cities, the paper, from macro-scope, intermediate-scope and micro-scope, probes into the structure of green open space. Through the study, sustainable development of inhabitable environment of mountain cities will be enhanced. The paper is divided into five parts to ponder, analyze and elaborate.
