As a new technology of knowledge discovering, Data Mining system has been increasingly concerned, which provides useful and interested information conveniently from a large number of data.With the rapid development of the motorcycle industry, China has become one of the world's largest manufacturing bases for motorcycles and parts .However, China's motorcycle industry is facing unprecedented problems. Motorcycle enterprises spend a lot of money and human resources introducing production lines and technology, accumulating mass data, but the ineffective use, excavation, collating and sharing data makes independent innovation and self-development capacity very poor, lead to the products lack of market competitiveness. How to use computers to analysis, use and find useful knowledge to support decision-making effectively and enhance self-development capacity and competition in the market is the issues requiring urgent solution in China's motorcycle industry.The motorcycle intelligent design system uses artificial intelligence, data mining , neural network, CAD/CAM/CAE comprehensive technical and so on, focuses on motorcycle product's full life-cycle development, gains motorcycle products'Automatic classification, acquisition, remember forecasting, performance analysis, parameters modeling and virtual testing, so to improve the speed and reliability of motorcycle design and the capacity of motorcycle design and development, finally achieve innovative design. As a subsystem, Motorcycle design Data Mining system mainly realizes the management, classification and forecasts and searches for the new memory products automatically to find the most similar design examples for consequence。Through the analysis of the operating principles of the mining system, mining methods, process and the development method, together with the motorcycle design features , gives a combining data mining algorithm of neural network ART1and BP, achieves a data mining mechanism and the integrated neural network based ART1 and BP.
