According to the anchoring material difference, post-installed bars may include organically post-installed bars and inorganically post-installed bars. In practical projects, because of high bonding strength of the organic anchoring material , organically post-installed bar was widely applied. However, the durability and the heat-resistance of the organic anchoring material are relatively bad, the structure lied in hidden danger. Inorganically post-installed bars although have the ideal durability and heat-resistance, its bonding strength is low. It is unable effectively to transmit the load, the anchor depth is too big. These restricted application of the inorganic anchoring material in the post-installed fastening project.This paper proposed one kind of inorganically post-installed fastening technology , namely the technology of inorganically post-installed bars with cone-shaped head . The fastened end of bar was machined to multi cone-shaped heads. Through the cone heads compress the inorganic anchoring material, the load was transmitted from bars to base material. It changes the transfer path of loads and takes advantage of high compress strength of inorganic material, thus enhanced the anchor intensity of inorganically post-installed bars.This paper used the reactive powder concrete (RPC) as the inorganic anchoring material, and studied this material's compositions and the materials mechanics properties (mainly includes compressive strength, shearing strength, elasticity coefficient and Poisson's ratio), and also studied the contraction, durability (including the RPC permeability, chemistry corrosiveness and anti- frozen performance) and the heat-resistance of RPC.Through the pull-out experiment, the load displacement curve was obtained. Contrasting the test results under the different condition to post-installed bar, it was clear about the mechanism of the inorganically post-installed bars. The test results of inorganically post-installed bars was compared especially with the traditional organically post–installed bars.According to the test result, the mechanism of inorganically post-installed bars with cone-shaped heads was analyzed.
