With the ongoing development and improvement of technology, better safety system is required for automobile. Excellent breaking performance and integrated chassis control system are considered to be two key criterions assessing safety system. Traditional breaking system, though is able to meet the national regulation, but due to low breaking efficiency and response speed, complex configuration and reticular pipe layout, hard maintenance and pollution, it has great weakness on safety. Therefore, EMB-Electromechanical Braking System is brought forward to solve these problems, furthermore, by integrated through CAN with other parts, together a chassis control system can be finally built.Based on both domestic and international consulting information and reference, this paper is attempting to raise a new EMB mechanical actuator proposal. By using Fuzzy comprehensive appraisal, first to come up with a general layout scenario, and design the EMB mechanical actuator in term of the scenario and related technical index, then according the parts parameter, electromechanical system model and dynamic analysis is built and made between EMB mechanical actuator and actuator motor. Finally comparison with the traditional braking system is necessary to identify whether the new designed EMB braking system meets the regulation and requirements or not. Accordingly a top town vehicle braking model is built with the foundation of vehicle, tire and road adhesion model, meanwhile EMB and HB braking system are introduced for contrast and simulation of braking efficiency, the result is prove to be better and higher response speed for the new designed system. Additionally, primary anti-rollover analysis for the EMB braking system is included in this paper.EMB braking system stated in this paper has provided guideline for better and further design, mathematics model and analysis also gives theory concept for the following work.
