| With the rapid development of power plant supervising information system, the area of its function becomes wider ,so the design of its website is much more complex. However, there is some common ground in system of this kind, which offers the advantage for developing the website with Object Oriented technology. As a mature object-oriented language, UML is more and more regarded and popularized in the software developing.The author proves that it is feasible developing website with UML according to analyzing the characteristic between supervising information system of power plant and Object Oriented technology. Then, the application of UML web expanded mechanism in developing website of power plants supervising information system is studied.Finally, the author illustrates how to apply UML to requirement analysis, general design and particular design in developing the website of Wenzhou PCOOS(Performance Calculation and Optimum Operating System for Generating Unit of Wenzhou Power Plant).Popularizing UML in developing website of power plant supervising information system is explored.
