The adsorption refrigerator can utilize waste heats and solar energy, saving a lot of running cost. It does not use hurtful working pair to atmosphere. Therefore it is a kind of environment friendly refrigeration system and have a bright future. The aim of this paper is to provide basic data for development of adsorption refrigerator. The follow researches have been finished:a. An experiment apparatus has been developed to determine the adsorption properties of different adsorbents and adsorbates.b. Experiments have been conducted on four working pairs of 13X-water, 13X-ethanol, active carbon-ethanol and active carbon-methanol. A lot of basic adsorption properties data have been obtained and theoretical analyses have been conducted based on the above data.c. The differences of capacity of adsorption 13X-water, active carbon-ethanol, active carbon-methanol and 13X-ethanol are decrease according to the static adsorption properties.d. The effective coefficient of diffusion of active carbon-ethanol, active carbon-methanol, 13X-water and 13X-ethanol are decrease according to the dynamic adsorption properties.e. The mean refrigerating capacity rate per unit mass of 13X-water, active carbon-ethanol, active carbon-methanol and 13X-ethanol are decrease under the same temperature of desorption heat resource according to the static and dynamic adsorption properties.f. 13X-water is suitable for refrigeration system with evaporating temperature above 0℃. Active carbon-methanol and active carbon-ethanol is suitable for...
