In recent years, atmospheric pollution by NOx has been attached importance to. Recently, the source of NOx in atmosphere is burning of fossil fuels, exhaust gas from the industrys of nitric acid & plating, and tail gas from autos. The controlled objects in our country about NOx are burning coal settings, power stations, boilers, and so on. On Dec. 23, 2003, State Environmental Protection Administration of China issued the standard of NOx release. In this situation, all kinds of reduction NOx technology have become the hot spots. This paper is based upon country 863 project: Study on Using Condensed Tertiary-Air Coal Rebuming Reduction NOx Technology.The content of study in this paper is part of country 863 project: Study on Using Condensed Tertiary-Air Coal Rebuming Reduction NOx Technology. So, at the beginning of paper, it introduces the theory of producing NOx, the danger of NOx, the development of reduction NOx technology, etc. The researchful keystone of paper is searching one methord to condense tertiary-air coal for reburning reduction NOx technology.The main research methord is numerical simulation in the paper, and inserts a part of experimentation. So, the paper introduces the mathematical models and the methords of numerical simulation used in the study as one chapter.Next, it investigates three methords of condensing tertiary-air coal: using the composite structure of an impact type fuel rich-lean burner and the elbows, using the rotary-classifier, and using the centrifugal fan. The paper analyses the distribution of air flow, the movement of coal particles, and calculates the efficiency of separation and condense, and evaluates the effect of separation and condense.At the end of paper, it discusses some questions in the process of study, offers the relevant resolvent, and plans the future projects.
