Piles and anchors supporting structure are widely applied in retaining and protecting engineering of deep foundation excavation. The primary factors and the component part of pile-anchor supporting system are analyzed in systematic engineering method in this paper. The pile-anchor supporting system is divided into two sub-systems, piles enclosure structure sub-system and anchors sheet bracing structure sub-system, with mutual independency and close association. Then the paper proposes that the optimization design of piles and anchors supporting structure must be implemented collaboratively on the scheme design level and detail structure design level, and analyses the interrelationship between the two levels.After sifting out the design variables that influence largely the optimization results of pile-anchor supporting system and inducting the main constraint condition of the system, this paper constructs the final optimization object function which using composite construction cost as optimization object, and further build mathematical model of optimization design aimed at pile-anchor supporting system. Moreover, this paper carries on optimization analysis of calculation mode of piles and anchors supporting structure.Genetic algorithm is a novel probability searching algorithm, and posses the characteristics of multi-point searching, parallel computing and self-adaptive global optimization. So, it is very suitable for the solution of complex engineering problems, just as the problem of the optimization design of pile-anchor supporting system, which often has numerous variables, highly nonlinear optimization objects and the great solution spaces.
