Recently, with the development of space technology in our country, especially in small satellites, so technique of space vehicle simulation needs attitude simulation systems of small satellites with high performance and low cost. The motion state of satellites in space can be simulated on multiple degree of freedom air bearing table. Especially three degree of freedom air bearing table is the important simulative equipment in ground. The object's direction is the vortex moment of three degree of freedom air bearing table. The vortex moment is one of the main factors to affect the precision of hydrostatic gas spherical bearing.The vortex moment of gas spherical bearing is caused by the uneven gas film between the sphere and the sphere socket. There are two reasons to produce the uneven film. The first one is the manufacture error. The second is the table deformation. The paper researches the vortex moment caused by the shape and locality error of one hole in the sphere socket. By analyzing and comparing the result we can find the method to decrease the vortex moment.The content in the paper includes two parts. One is the fluid field calculation. Firstly, using GAMBIT carves up gas film's mesh in the hydrostatic gas spherical bearing, set up model and set sound boundary condition. Afterwards using FLUENT leads into the mesh, analyzes the fluent field, draw the curve and find the inherent law .The second is to put forward the experiment scheme. Because unbalance torque have great effect on dynamic trait of the table,we need to adjust it to a right plane and measure it. The table swing in one plane because of vortex moment and unbalance torque. We can measure the angle between the table and the horizontal plane. Afterwards we can calculate the vortex moment on the base of balance condition.
