Indoor air quality and thermal comfortable environment are the most important character. As the time increases that people live indoor and the demand of the indoor environment lifts, the HVAC system is more and more important. Displacement ventilation and cooled ceiling system as a measure has been widely used in public buildings and office buildings because it not only can provide better indoor air quality, but also is an energy saving ventilation system. This paper use CFD commercial software Airpak to simulate the temperature fields and velocity distribution under the conditions of different load that cooled ceiling takes on and different heat source intensity. According to the simulation, the height of the stationary front will drop with the increase of the heat source intensity. This will affect the airflow form. The vertical temperature gradient will drop with the increase of the load that cooled ceiling takes on. But it will affect the airflow organization with the cooled airflow drops. Also, it studies the impact of solar radiation on displacement ventilation and cooled ceiling system. Horizontal warm areas lowers the height of thermocline and is unfavorable to displacement ventilation system; vertical hot surfaces will destroy the thermal stratification.According to the conclusions above, we can say that we should state a correct scale that the loads of both takes on when we design displacement ventilation and cooled ceiling system. This will ensure the air quality of the work zone; increase cooling capacity; reduce power lose of the ventilation system. We should pay attention to the choice of the floor material to lower the impact of solar radiation.
