Power system is the typically dynamic system with the characteristic of heteronomy and nonlinear. Safe power supply is very important for social activities and economy development while stability is the key for power system to run safely. Interlinkage of district power system and development of electric power market make degree of power system stability more and more small, and make math model of power system approach to morbidity, and bring a serious challenge to the transient stability of the power system. Consequently, it is exigent to develop method of TSA for quantitative and on-line assessment.SBS method can not offer degree value of stability, so it have to seek limit through reiterative integral calculation, and qualitative analysis stability according to engineering experience. In order to avoid integral calculation, Liapunov function must keep fixed value after malfunction. However, multi-machine system is heteronomy essentially, so numerical integral after malfunction can not be avoided, and strict Liapunov function doesn't exist...
