The Analisis And Application Studies Of Power Demand Side Management

Power demand side management, the most important part of the integrated resource planning, is an advanced management technology currently in the world. Through improving the efficiency of the end-use equipment and optimizing the habit of using energy, it can realize the goal of saving energy and protecting the environment.In the first of all, this paper makes a general presentation of the concepts, methods, and properties about demand side management. Based on several methods about cost-benefit evaluation, this paper establishes the evaluation system of DSM, and the cost-benefit model based on DSM energy saving, it evaluates from the point of the avoidable electricity, the avoidable peak load, the avoidable coal consuming and the avoidable releasing of SO2 and CO2. In order to select the best way of DSM, this paper presents the best evaluation model, in the process of searching, we can find the best evaluation method.Secondly, this paper analyses the present electric market of some region in Shanxi, forecasts the load in the region in the next 5 years by the GM(1,1), at the same time, it indicates the necessity of implementing the DSM in this region, and set up the concret goal of DSM. Some of the DSM steps have been done in the region, for these ones, this paper makes a meticulous study and analysis, and it adopts the cost-effective evaluation model to calculate and evaluate.
