| From the 1980s, more and more skew girder bridges have been constructed wildly in China. Unfortunately, owing to the effect of many factors, such as lower design loads and imperfect theory of skew girder bridge, some of skew girder bridges have been damaged or some of skew girder bridges have appeared cracks so that most of them have lost the carrying capacity after being used more than just ten years. The problem must be solved by reinforcement.Taken a highway skew girder bridge with such diseases as an example, and based on the calculation results of ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state both before reinforcement and after reinforcement, the reason of generating such diseases has been found, and also brought forward the reinforcement method of increasing the number of I section steel girder to solve the problem of deficient carrying capacity and wider cracks. Verify validity of this reinforcement method.The content of this research mainly include:1)Using finite element method by ANSYS9.0 on skew girder bridge, calculate all kinds of working conditions such as dead loads, automobile load, automobile load wallop ,crowd load, temperature effect, concrete shrink and creep before the skew girder bridge is reinforced. Then combine these internal forces including ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state according to the regulations of"General Code for Design of Highway Bridges and Culverts JTG D60-2004", so can find out the worst internal force of all controlled sections to analyze diseases of the skew girder bridge.2) Bring forward the fast reinforcement method of increasing the number of I section steel girder.3) Using finite element method by ANSYS9.0 on skew girder bridge, calculate all kinds of working conditions such as dead loads, automobile load, automobile load wallop , crowd load, temperature, concrete shrink and creep after the skew girder bridge is reinforced. Then combined with these internal forces including ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state according to the regulations of"General Code for Design of Highway Bridges and Culverts JTG D60-2004", so can find out the worst internal force of all controlled sections to validate availability of this reinforcement method. The result shows that this method can solve the problem of deficiency of carrying capacity and wider cracks, the new steel girders can help to burden half of loads. |
