The radar-type life detection instrument is based on the integration oftheory of radar and bio-medical engineering technology, which can be usedto detect the life parameters (respiration, movement, etc.) and find outwhether there is any person alive under the barriers in farther distance,without any leash, electrode, sensor and cable on detecting object. Thedetection process is: microwave beams penetrate barriers arrive to surfaceof person's body, the reflected wave is modulated by jiggle caused byphysical activity of the person. After the life detection instrument receivethe reflected wave, the signal preprocessing unit preprocess the microwave,extract life parameters to display and analyze. This instrument can be usedin city battle, scout, capture and antiterrorism in military field. It is can alsobe used in security, monitoring and antiterrorism by police.
