Research Of Broadband Transducer

With the rapid development of signal processing technique, more and more information is needed from transducer, and so is in underwater acoustic signal processing. The Qm of underwater transducer is commonly very high, its frequency band is narrowly, so it only works in narrow frequency range. Because of this, the need of broadband underwater transducer is more and more important, the research of it is more and more widely an deeply. This paper tells the general situation, the development trend and research method of broadband transducer. The technique of matching layer is a very effective method to widen frequency band of transducer. The primary research work and analytic method of matching layer transducer is done. The effect of water-avoided layer and radiated impedance to matching layer transducer is researched, and the modifying method to matching layer material parameter is given. The result of experiment proves that the matching layer transducer can use in arrays in effect, its directive parameter is not unconventionality change, and its power function is all right.
