With the modern electric system becoming more complicated and voltage grade keeping elevated, the probability that system comes forth some problems is increasing. Therefore, it is necessary for us to take adequate measures to ensure the security of the system and minimize the loss when the system fails to function. Relay Protection technique is the most important one among diversified safety precautions. As the important part of relay protection devices, the high-voltage transmission line auto-reclosing function acts as the crucial role in ensuring system safety, stability and economical running.The paper took high-voltage transmission line microcomputer reclosing devices as the research object and refered to lots of inside and outside data. After investigating the structure principle, hardware and software of the high-voltage line microcomputer reclosing device, and considering the engineering practice, the paper has done some research and improvement in the application of microcomputer reclosing devices. The main contents include:1. Investigated the structure principle of high-voltage line microcomputer reclosing device, involving the start-up mode, reclosing mode, synchronous mode and the relationship between reclosing and relay protection.2. Investigated the hardware and software of high-voltage transmission line microcomputer reclosing devices, and expounded its design ideology and main function.3. Analyzed errors of auto-reclosing synchronization and offered the countermeasure for the errors; analyzed the misoperation reason of the high-voltage line microcomputer reclosing device and discovered the root of errors and put forward three solutions; compared the three methods and selected the best one to run in practice.4. According to the engineering practice and experience, designed a suit of debug method and flow for high-voltage transmission line microcomputer reclosing devices.5. According to the scheme, we have improved the microcomputer reclosing devices for many high-voltage transmission lines in Hunan province, and get good effects.
