Based on V.Noninski and J.Dash's research work, the variation of heat in Pt(H)-Pd electrolytic system with K2CO3 and Na2CO3 solutions was compared. A set of experiments were carried out in two airtight batteries in which the electrolytes were K2CO3 and Na2CO3 solutions respective. Catalyst(0.5% Pd Al2O3) was used to compound H2 and O2 which were created during the electrolysis into H2O. The percent of excess heat from the electrolyte of K2CO3 solution can reach 60%.Laser was used in anther set of experiments to irradiate the cathode (Pd) in order to touch off the excess heat. The power and the frequency of the laser were both constant. It is showed in our experiments that K2CO3 solution can give more heat than Na2CO3 solution under same conditions. In the set of experiments in which laser was used, the time of electrolysis was changed in every experiment and the percent of the excess heat changed also. The transformation of the temperature of the cathode was used to calculate the percent of the excess heat and the highest value reached 21% by now.
