With the technical development, Maglev Train with high speed, comfort, safety, energy, economy and environmental protection has become much better than any other vehicle. Research is being done in many countries in the world. Germany and Japan keep ahead in this field. Much work is being done in our country. Based on this, the important cooperation project of Ba Daling Maglev Train travel demonstration line comes into existence.The bogie frame is one important part of Maglev Train, which is the chassis of the whole train and passes the levitation force and the force of change direction. Because of enduring the variation force, the bogie certainly will be destroyed. So we must apply fatigue strength calculations to the bogie after the static strength analysis. For the Maglev Train bogie frame is a very complicated structure and measuring stress process is not realistic, simulation with FEA software and measured stress process is an effective method in its fatigue life prediction.In this paper, the related background of the subject is introduced, the meaning of the subject and the main research content is pointed out, the related theories of fatigue is expounded and the most suitable method to analyze fatigue life of the Maglev train bogie frame is selected; in succession to this ,sampling system is established and signal of load spectrum is collected and processed; in the following, the theory of nominal stress approach basing on FEM is discussed, the static finite element model of the bogie is built, and from this stress and strain distribution is got, finally the bogie fatigue life is simulated by using fatigue analysis software with load spectrum; at the same time, the theory of power spectrum density method based on FEM is also introduced, the dynamics finite element model of the bogie is set up and from this the stress response power spectral density function is got, and lastly fatigue software is adopted to simulate the bogie fatigue life on stress concentration spot; finally the two results are compared and the simulation verified reasonable.The methods of the subject have the directive meaning to the whole fatigue analysis of the Maglev train bogie. The results have reference value on the improvement of structure design and the fatigue testing work, and are very important for improving safety of Maglev train.
