| Permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) have the advantage of not requiring any magnetizing current and easy to control. They are widely used in high performance servo systems. This paper aims at the analysis of the power factor of PMSM, and proposes the control scheme of the power factor. It has great impacts on the energy-saving and the improvement of the power factor of electric netwok.Firstly, this paper sets up the mathematical model of the permanent magnet synchronous motor in SIMULINK. By series of simulation, the effects of electric source and magnetic field on the power factor become clear.Secondly, it sets up vector control model in SIMULINK. And it realizes the control by two different ways, hysteresis and SPWM. The model works well when the giving torque and speed change. And it analyses the power factor in different conditions via the Fourier anlysis of the stator current and voltage.Then, it sets up the simulating model for maximum torque/current ratio. The torque can be controlled by controlling the angle of stator current vector. And it analyses the power factor of PMSM in different conditions.Finally, it proposes a new scheme that controls the power factor of PMSM. The model can control the power factor by controlling the stator current on the basis of the speed control. The analysis and simulation results show that the power factor control scheme is feasible. And the PMSM can work well under the given power factor.This paper analyses the power factor and realizes the contol of it in SIMULINK. It proves to be feasible and right via series of simulation. |
