Flight control system and propulsion control system are two of important control systems on an aircraft. The well-known mode before, that these two systems are disigned separately, has been changed. Now people pay more attention to the issue of integrated flight / propulsion control, which is an unnegligible newcome trend.With respect to the issue of integrated flight/propulsion control system design,adopting the decentralized solutions of system integration, this article studied the key technologies in this integrated control system, based on which a real-time integrated closed-loop model of plane/engine was built and a study of variable structure control of integrated flight/pro-pulsion control system was conducted.Through a great many simulations, the feasibility of the solution was verified and a simulating platform of integrated flight/propulsion control system was designed and developed by utilizing DirectX multi-media development libraries.As to the modelling of integrated flight/propulsion system, this paper mainly investigated and the modelling methods of flight kinetics and propulsion system thermodynamics, building up the real-time models of body kinetics.Then we integrated the component-level thermodynamics model of engine, solved the problem of matching of initial points in the integrated simulation of flight/engine and the interactive parts of flight system and propulsion system. Eventually, a real-time integrated model of plane/engine has been developed.For the development of simulation platform, the developmental mechanism of DirectDraw component in DirectX multi-media development libraries was studied here, based on which the simulation platform of integrated flight/propulsion control system was designed and developed providing a nice human-computer interface for integrated control system.Regarding the development of control system, we studied a non-linear control method, variable structure control method, elaborating the basic concepts, methods of design and the solution of buffeting problem, modelling the linearization variable of a certain turbofan engine, for which the variable structure control system was designed and verified by a great many simulations.
