The vehicle chassis dynamometer is a large indoor vehicle performance testingequipment, and its signal detection and data transmission system is the main factor whichdetermines the capability of this experiment. The Shan Dong University of Technologyhave designed and developed the first domestic large-scale vehicle chassis dynamometerin 1990s. The technique, especially the test and control system have many deficienciesbecause of the limits of that stage. This thesis improves the signal detection and datatransmission system of vehicle chassis dynamometer through current emergingtechnologies.This paper further study the sensors' signal acquisition, data collection andprocessing methods from the view of project application, using wireless technology basedon Bluetooth technique to replace cables for data transmission. Meanwhile this paperfocuses on the methods of high-resolution detection of weak signals and of codingtechnology to improve the precision of the Oil Consumption sensor, and designs a pointto point wireless communications systems based on ARQ error control schema. Finallythis paper also finds a precise way to mark the scales on the sensors through experiment.
