In recent years, the fatigue of composite steel-concrete structures is standing out with the wide use of steel-concrete structures in bridge. A lot of studies about it have been done by many scholars from different countries and some conclusions have been drawn. But there is long way to goal. In this thesis, the study method combining theoretical calculation with model test is adopted. Based on Guangdong Dongping Bridge, the static and fatigue properties behavior of composite steel-concrete bridge deck is mainly studied.Firstly, some basic conceptions about fatigue strength and several basic methods and theories for fatigue design of steel bridge are introduced. Checking calculation method and essentials about fatigue of orthotropic steel bridge deck are briefly described. It is introduced that how to frame fatigue load spectrum of highway bridges and it's present research status in China and abroad are also involved;Equivalent moment range is obtained through loading on several pieces of simply supported beam and 4-span continuous beam with different spans with different load spectrum and some conclusion about how to select the fatigue vehicle for simply supported beam and 4-span continuous beam is concluded by analyzing this equivalent moment range.Secondly, some basic conceptions about composite structures are presented and it's connectors are also involved. Moreover the research findings about the fatigue problems of composite structures are also introduced.Finally, the test model of composite steel-concrete bridge deck of Dongping Bridge is designed, and the test project is made out through finite element analysis for fact bridge and test model. Test results and theory results of test model are compared and it is proved that composite steel-concrete bridge deck of Dongping Bridge is reliable.
