Abstract/Summary:
With the development of passenger line in our country, running speed and transport density of train are ascending, thus the manual operation mode can't meet the practical demand. The technology of automatic train operation (called ATO for short in the following) integrates advanced computer, communication, control and signal technology, and artificial intelligence theory into an automatic control system where train can be speeded up and down to run automatically.Train operation is a typical, complex, multiobjective, large-lag and nonlinear system, so it is difficult to find out the exact mathematics mode and its optimum solution. Fuzzy prediction control is a new control algorithm based on fuzzy logic and prediction control, which more accords with human control idea and has less demand for controlled procedure mode, thus the method can meet high quality of control demand from train operation.Based on studying status of ATO, fuzzy prediction control and automatic control algorithm, the application and simulation of fuzzy prediction control to ATO were further studied in the paper. After detailedly studying traction computation mode, ATO theory and train operation mode, method of line data processing, optimized operation principles and strategies for ATO were offered;after fuzzy prediction control theory was applied to ATO, specific control algorithm and fuzzy judgment function were given;at last a simulation software was designed to simulate all phases of train running, and its result approached to the practice of excellent train driver.The application of fuzzy prediction control to ATO system not only enriches the theory of fuzzy prediction control, but also offers a new method for train operation with high quality. The result of related simulation shows that the application of fuzzy prediction control to ATO can assure the train to run in high quality way.
