The building's column base displacement refers to the change of space coordinate at column base because of natural or human action factors. No matter non-even subsidence or horizontal displacement in the column base both influence their upper structure's internal force and shape in varying degrees. This kind of influence is even more important to the building in the area of soft soil. At present, the main research of column base displacement research is subside of column base, seldom involves horizontal displacement of column base. The analysis is not overall and systematic enough, and it is less likely to adopt the statistical method and structure reliability too. So, it distributes an important meaning that defining more overall analysis targets, seeking more accurate statistical distributions in the field of column base rule of development and security caused by the displacement of building.The paper take the Bao-steel 12 monolayer steel structures industry workshops as the research objects, transforming each kind of column foundation displacement observation to 5 column foundation displacements analysis targets, unifying the structure analysis and the mathematical statistic methods and deeply analysis the lateral shear and the subsidence displacement, studied the probability distribution type of these analysis targets and their parameters, and, the examination which related to the distribution type. Regarding horizontal, longitudinal relative subsidence displacement, but also described as necessary the change curve and has carried on the fitting. Those have achieved a better effect. The main research content and the achievement of the paper are concluded as follows: Horizontal, longitudinal relative subsidence and its probability distribution;Various workshops horizontal, longitudinal relative subsidence development curve and its fitted curve;Settling rate and its probability distribution;Next column horizontal, longitudinal relative translation probability distribution.The paper's research provide a vital significance on the displacement studies of thecolumn foundation in the field of soft soil ground in monolayer steel structure industry workshop, and also has a vital significance to other kinds of industry workshop's safety handling maintenances. The standard lacks the related overall and systematic exposition of the column base. Therefore, the research results also have offered the important reference basis for standard revision.
