The fabric reinforced concrete is a new kind of cement based composites .In this dissertation , the carbon /AR glass fiber knitted fabric is used as reinforcement, and two types of concrete (mixed with short polypropylene fiber or not) were used as matrix . Then the fabric reinforced concrete thin plates were casted with four levels of preload stress , and formed five groups specimens of two types . The influence of the prestressing force and the short fiber on the composites mechanical property was analyzed by bending and tension experiments. Basing on the theory of composite material, some analytic formulas were deducted, which can be used to count the Young's modulus , first-cracking strength and so on. In addition, the type of preload stress loss and the measures to reduce the loss were discussed. In order to character the bonding properties of the interface between fabric and matrix, the load-displacement curves were analysed , and the remnants of cracked specimens was observed , then the relevant mechanics model was discussed. At last, some imagines and proposes were put forward for the following research, and the application perspectives of the fabric reinforced cement based composites were imagined. The innovation in this dissertation was that the influences of prestressing force on the mechanical property of this composites, just as the influences of short polypropylene fiber on the toughness of this composites, were detailed. This is a new try to obtain the optimization design of the cement based composite's component.
