The theory of the leakage deformation has been a most important problem for a long time in the dyke research. The newly occurred damage of dam failure is reviewed at home and abroad. In a great degree, the most damage of dam failure is caused by leakage failure. In a certain depth below the earth surface, the ground temperature field is formed for the solar radiation and the internal heat of the earth. The leakage usually happens with thermal history. In the dissertation, the groundwater temperature field is used to the qualitative analysis and the definite quantity calculation of the dam leakage, and the theory was used to Douhe reservoir. The systematically and in depth research was carried through in the dissertation. The major contents are as follows:(1) According to the conservation of energy theory and the heat transfer theory, the heat transfer model of dam leakage is set up through the combination with the conservation energy equation and the heat transfer equation. Dimensionless equations of the transfer model are obtained in the Laplace spaces. The dimensionless of the leakage water temperature and the stratum temperature in real spaces were obtained by the contour integration method.(2) The heat transfer is happened in the stratum around the leakage passage, so the distribution of the temperature satisfies logarithmic equation. There will be lots of observational data in the field experiments, the temperature data in the other bores at the same elevation of the leakage passage is selected and curve fitted under the logarithmic equation model. As a result, the radius of the leakage passage can be calculated.(3) The flow rate of the leakage water and the rock thermophysical parameters and heat convection coefficient can be analysed by the software package of Mathematica. According to the result, the conclusion can be obtained, with the increase of the flow rate of leakage water, the temperature will dwindle away. When analysed the rock thermophysical parameters, the effect of the temperature variation of the leakage water caused by the amount of porosity and the moisture content is discussed. With the increased of the heat convection coefficient, the temperature will increase and be constant ultimately.
